Biography

Orville Zavitz was the son of Norman and Elizabeth (nee Smith) Zavitz of Lobo Township in Middlesex County, Ontario.  Orville was an Engineer in the Canadian Army during WW11 and served overseas in Sicily, Italy and Germany.  On December 18, 1946 Orville married Gladys McEwen.  In 1959 they moved to Lot 15 Concession 7 West Zorra Township and resided there for many years.  Together they raised four daughters and six sons - Marguerite, Marlene, Marion, Marie and Stewart, Bruce, Wayne, Paul, John and Kevin.
