Dallas McCorquodale was the son of Francis M. and Mary A. (nee Sutherland) McCorquodale. He was a member of the Oxford Rifle's, an infantry regiment of the Canadian Army. On October 2, 1943 Dallas married Jean Ann McPherson and together they raised 3 children - Beverley Ann, Sharon Mary and Kenneth Mac.
