Biography

Robert Scott Murray was born July 15, 1891, son of David and Louisa Murray of West Zorra Township. At the time of enlistment, he was an unmarried farmer. He was killed in on Nov. 6, 1917, while serving with the 1st Battalion of the Canadian Infantry, and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
