Biography

Allan Alexander Murray was born July 20, 1896, son of John & Elizabeth Murray, a farmer in West Zorra Township. He was 19 when he enlisted. He was killed in action on Oct. 19, 1918, and is commemorated at the Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery, Somme, France.
