Biography

Fanny Munroe was born April 24, 1888, daughter of William Munroe of West Zorra Township was a nurse who enlisted in 1917 and served overseas with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. She was decorated for that service. After the war, she was Superintendent of Nurses at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton and at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal.
