Biography
Evelyn William Barnabus Evans (known throughout West Zorra as Barney) was born in Harecroft, Orpington, Kent, England on June 11, 1922. He enlisted with the Royal Air Force, Squadron 102. In January of 1944 he was shot down near Berlin. Barney emigrated to Canada in 1962 and operated a business named Zorra Farms. He passed away on August 29, 1987 and is buried in Maitland Cemetery, Goderich.
