Biography

Archibald Bushnell was born in England about 1893 a son of Rosa & William Bushnell, Hendy's Cottage, Mortimer, Berkshire, U.K.

He immigrated to Canada and was a farm labourer for Alfred Thomas on Lot 5, Concession 8, West Zorra.

On July 28, 1915, he enlisted in Galt with the 34th Battalion, and served with the 7th Battalion, Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary. He was decorated with a Military Medal.
