Biography

James Lorenzo (Ren) Ross was the son of Caroline Smith and Dan Ross of Lakeside.  He joined in 1917 in Windsor, Ontario and was placed in the No. 2 Overseas Army Service Corps  Training Depot, Canadian Expeditionary Forces.  He listed his trade as a chauffeur.  He had previously served in the Militia as a Quartermaster.
