Biography

Leading Aircraftman Donald Wilson Pardy (1923-2011), son of Mabel Evelyn (Dickson) and Gordon W. Purdy, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and served throughout the war as a navigator. He attended pre-enlistment training in Hamilton and also spent time in Toronto and Aylmer. Donald married Helene Pearl Bricker (1943) and their children are Donna and Richard 'Rick'. He was a member of the Air Force Association of Canada and also a member of the Stratford Memorial Branch #8 Royal Canadian Legion. He is buried in Sebringville Cemetery.
